CA mourns tragic deaths in Mirpur fire
Bangla Press Desk: Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the tragic deaths of people in a devastating fire in a garment factory and chemical warehouse at Shialbari in the city's Mirpur area.
The fire, meanwhile, has claimed the lives of 16 people, injured others, and left several still missing.
In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families, reports BSS.
"This loss of innocent lives in such a tragic accident is deeply painful and heartbreaking. We stand beside the affected families in this time of grief," Yunus said.
