Bangla Press Desk: Three people, including a police officer, were killed as a bus collided head on with a truck in Narail.
The accident took place on the Narail-Jashore highway in Bhangura Bazar area of Bagherpara upazila of the district around 10:45 pm on Sunday.
Narail Police Superintendent Rabiul Islam confirmed the incident.
The deceased were identified as Nikkan Aadhya, 35, a sub-inspector (SI) of the Lahuria Investigation Centre of Lohagara Police Station in Narail; Akhtar Hossain of the Basundia area of Jashore Sadar; and Abu Jafar of the Vekutia area of Jashore outskirts, who was the former deputy general secretary of the central parliament of the Swechchhasebak Dal.
