DCAB expresses deep condolence over death of Nazrul Islam’s father
Bangla Press Desk: The Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) has expressed deep sorrow and condolence at the death of Md. Nurul Amin, father of Nazrul Islam, a DCAB member and diplomatic correspondent of Dhaka Post.
He passed away on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital. The following day, Thursday, he was laid to rest at the family graveyard in his home district Lakshmipur after the funeral prayer. He was 64 years old at the time of his death.
In a joint condolence message, DCAB President A.K.M. Moinuddin and General Secretary Md. Arifuzzaman Mamun prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed their heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.
They said that the late Nurul Amin was a gentle, honest, religious, and well-loved person. With his death, not only the family but also friends and well-wishers have lost a sincere and kind-hearted individual.
The deceased is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, and many admirers and well-wishers. A shadow of grief has descended everywhere at his passing.
On behalf of DCAB, prayers were offered that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul a high place in Jannatul Ferdous and give the bereaved family the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
