Bangla Press Desk: Three hundred and seventeen more new dengue cases were reported in the 24 hours till Sunday morning, taking the total number of cases past the 12,000-mark this year.
No new deaths were reported over the period, leaving the year’s toll death toll unchanged at 45, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In the 24 hours till 8am Sunday, 325 patients were discharged from hospital, taking the total recoveries to 10,998 so far this year. Currently, 1, 228 dengue patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.
Among the 317 new patients, 59% were male and 41% were female.
