Drone flights banned at Evercare Hospital, adjacent areas
Bangla Press Desk: The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned the operation of all types of drones over Evercare Hospital in the city and its adjacent areas.
A public notice signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali was issued on Wednesday.
For the sake of maintaining public order, the DMP, exercising the powers vested under Section 28 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No III/76), has prohibited the operation of any drone over Evercare Hospital and its surrounding areas from Wednesday until further notice.
The DMP warned that flying unauthorised drones in the restricted area will invite appropriate legal action.
This fresh instruction comes just a day before the homecoming of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
The BNP leader is set to return to Bangladesh on Thursday and visit his ailing mother, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, at Evercare Hospital.
