EC to brief divisional commissioners, DCs and SPs today

Bangla Press Desk:  The Election Commission (EC) will hold a high-level briefing today with divisional commissioners, police commissioners, deputy commissioners (DCs), superintendents of police (SPs) and other senior field administration officials ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.

According to a notification signed by Mohammad Monir Hossain, deputy secretary (Election Management-2 Wing) of the EC Secretariat, the briefing will take place on Tuesday at the EC Secretariat auditorium (Basement-2).

The meeting will focus on election management and coordination as part of preparations for the parliamentary polls. Senior district and regional election officers will also attend the session.

The briefing will be chaired by the senior secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat, while the Chief Election Commissioner will be present as the chief guest. Other election commissioners will attend as special guests.

Invited guests include the Cabinet Secretary, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser, the senior secretaries of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Public Administration, and the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

The EC aims to strengthen coordination among civil administration, law enforcement agencies and election officials to ensure a peaceful and orderly election process.
