Eight state ministers get new portfolios
Bangla Press Desk : Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has redistributed the portfolios of eight state ministers.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday.According to the gazette, State Minister Md Shariful Alam, who was in charge of the Ministries of Commerce, Industries, and Textiles and Jute, has now been assigned to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
State Minister Sultan Salauddin Tuku, previously responsible for the Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock, and Food, has been given charge of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.
Habibur Rashid, who earlier oversaw the Ministries of Road Transport and Bridges, Railways, and Shipping, has been assigned as State Minister for the Ministry of Railways and the Road Transport and Highways Division.
State Minister Md Rajib Ahsan, also previously entrusted with the Ministries of Road Transport and Bridges, Railways, and Shipping, has been given responsibility for the Ministry of Shipping and the Bridges Division.
Zonaed Abdur Rahim Saki, who was in charge of the Ministries of Finance and Planning, has been appointed State Minister for the Ministry of Planning.
Farzana Sharmin, who earlier held responsibility for the Ministries of Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare, has been assigned to the Ministry of Social Welfare.
Md Nurul Haque, previously responsible for the Ministries of Labour and Employment and Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, has been given charge of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment.
Bobby Hajjaj, who was in charge of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, has been appointed State Minister for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.Source: daily Sun
