Election manifesto of Jamaat to be announced today

Bangla Press Desk:  Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami will officially announce its election manifesto on Wednesday (4 February). The party has named the manifesto “Jonotar Ishtehar” (People’s Manifesto).

The information was confirmed by Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary and Head of the Publicity and Media Department Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer.

According to sources, the manifesto will be unveiled in the evening at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka.

Jamaat Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman, along with other top party leaders, will be present at the event. 

In addition, foreign representatives, ambassadors and high commissioners of various countries stationed in Bangladesh, representatives of international organizations and diplomats, as well as political leaders and distinguished personalities, are expected to attend.

Jamaat stated that the manifesto has been prepared considering the country’s current situation and future development plans. 

An app-based campaign titled “Jonotar Ishtehar” was also conducted, and the manifesto will reflect more than 3.7 million suggestions received through that initiative.Source: daily Sun
