Ex-MP Sumon arrested in capital

Bangla Press Desk:  The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested former Member of Parliament (MP) for Naogaon-6 constituency Md Omar Faruk Sumon and four other individuals from different parts of the capital.

All the arrestees are the activists of banned Awami League and its affiliated organizations.

Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter to the media.

Details will be notified later, he said.
