Final decision on interim govt ordinances likely tonight: Salahuddin

Bangla Press Desk: Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said that a final decision on 133 ordinances issued during the tenure of the interim government may be taken later tonight.
He shared the information with journalists on Sunday afternoon following a parliamentary party meeting of the ruling party.The home minister said a meeting of the parliamentary special committee formed to review the ordinances will be held tonight, where decisions regarding the 133 ordinances are expected to be finalised.Meanwhile, Zainul Abedin, chairman of the parliamentary special committee, said consensus has not yet been reached on 24 of the ordinances.
He added that those ordinances will be discussed in detail during the committee’s meeting later in the day.
