Fire at Uttara’s Diabari slum brought under control

Bangla Press Desk: A fire that broke out at a slum in Diabari, Uttara, on Thursday evening was brought under control without any casualties.

The blaze started at Oli Matborer Bosti around 6:40 pm, according to Warehouse Inspector Anwarul Islam of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters media cell.

Two units from Uttara Fire Station and three units from Tongi Fire Station rushed to the scene and managed to control the fire by around 7:15 pm.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined
