Flight operations suspended at Dhaka airport following fire

Bangla Press Desk: Flight operations at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have been temporarily suspended following a fire that broke out in a section of the airport’s cargo village.
Spokesperson for the airport’s Executive Director, Md. Masudul Hasan Masud, confirmed the development at around 3:30 PM on Saturday.
Earlier, the fire erupted suddenly around 2:15 pm in the cargo village area. Sixteen units of the Fire Service are currently working to bring the blaze under control, while another 16 units are on their way to the scene. The affected part of the cargo village stores imported goods.
