Former FOBANA Vice Chairman Qudrat-e-Khuda
Staff Reporter: Former Vice Chairman of the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA), veteran politician, and Freedom Fighter Qudrat-e-Khuda has passed away.
He died at approximately 10:45 p.m. local time on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Deerfield Rehab Center in Palm Beach, Florida. (Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return).
Qudrat-e-Khuda had been suffering from age-related illnesses for an extended period. He was 79 years old at the time of his death.
FOBANA Executive Committee Chairperson Rabiul Karim Belal, Vice Chairman Mohammed Rahman (Zahir), and Executive Secretary Khaled Ahmed Rouf expressed their profound sorrow over his passing and extended heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.
According to FOBANA officials, Qudrat-e-Khuda was elected Vice Chairman of FOBANA for the 2013–2014 term and carried out his responsibilities with honesty, integrity, and dedication throughout his tenure.
His Janazah (funeral prayer) is scheduled to be held today, Saturday, July 18, at 3:00 p.m. in Kissimmee, Florida.
