Govt appoints Tanvir Gani as PM’s special assistant

‎Bangla Press Desk:   The government has appointed Tanvir Gani as Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser/Prime Minister with responsibilities related to investment and capital market.

The appointment was made under Rule 3B(ii) of the Rules of Business, 1996, according to a gazette notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday.

As per the notification, Tanvir Gani will hold the rank and status equivalent to a state minister during his tenure.

The order, signed by Cabinet Secretary Md. Nasimul Gani, also states that the appointee will be entitled to salary, allowances, and other benefits as applicable to a state minister.

The appointment comes into effect immediately.
