Govt orders ban on IPL broadcast

Bangla Press Desk:  The government has ordered a ban on the broadcast of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the country, in protest over the exclusion of Bangladesh’s star pacer Mustafizur Rahman from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad.

The directive was issued on Tuesday (5 January) through a notification from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
