Bangla Press Desk: The interim government has decided to halt the events marking the first anniversary of July-August anti-fascist uprising for three days starting Tuesday, it said in a statement.
The decision has been taken in light of the deadly aircraft crash at a school building in Uttara, Dhaka.
Earlier, it was reported that the government would observe a one-day state mourning on Tuesday in response to the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training jet on the Milestone School and College campus in Uttara’s Diabari area, which resulted in multiple casualties.
On this day, the national flag will be flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government, autonomous institutions, educational institutions, and private establishments across the country, as well as at Bangladesh missions abroad.
