Hadi murder: Prime accused Faisal arrested in India

Bangla Press Desk : Indian police have arrested the prime accused and his associate in the murder case of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.

The Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police arrested Faisal Karim Masud alias Rahul, 37, and Alamgir Hossain, 34, in the Bongaon area in the wee hours of Sunday, Indian news agency ANI said on X, citing a press release from the STF.“There was secret credible information that two Bangladeshi nationals, after committing serious crimes including extortion and murder in Bangladesh, had fled their country and illegally entered India, and were trying to take shelter in the border area of Bongaon with the intention of crossing back into Bangladesh when an opportunity arises,” read the release.

Acting on this information, a raid was conducted, and the duo was apprehended.Source: daily Sun
