Hefazat leader Mamunul Haque arrested

Bangla Press Desk: Maulana Mamunul Haque, the joint secretary general of Hefazat-e-Islam, has been arrested. Police arrested the Hefazat leader from Jamia Rahmania Arabia madrasa in the capital’s Mohammadpur on Sunday (April 18) noon. Iftekharul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed his arrest to risingbd and said, “Details regarding the issue will be briefed later.” BP/SM
