IU teacher killed in office, assailant attempts suicide

Bangla Press Desk : A teacher of Islamic University in Kushtia was stabbed to death at her office on Wednesday afternoon.

After carrying out the stabbing, the assailant also slit his own throat in an apparent attempt to commit suicide.The victim is Associate Professor Asma Sadia Runa, also the chairman of the Department of Social Welfare under the Faculty of Social Sciences at the university.
