Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in attacks reportedly carried out by the United States and Israel.
He conveyed his condolences through a statement posted on his verified Facebook page.Jamaat Ameer writes, “I am deeply saddened by the news of the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the people of Iran during this difficult time. May Allah grant them patience and strength in their grief.”
“The current instability in the Middle East has already placed regional stability at serious risk. Any further military escalation will not only endanger one nation but could push the entire region toward a devastating conflict. During the holy month of Ramadan, such attacks will deeply hurt and anger ordinary people across the Muslim world and further threaten global peace,” he said.
“I call upon the United States, Israel, Iran, and all concerned parties to immediately halt military actions, exercise maximum restraint, and prioritize diplomatic engagement. Respect for international law, national sovereignty, and the protection of civilians must remain paramount.
The United Nations and global leaders must act decisively and responsibly to safeguard world peace,” Jamaat Ameer added.Source: daily Sun
