Jamaat ameer to speak at Teesta riverside rally today

Bangla Press Desk:   Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman will visit the Teesta riverside on Wednesday to take part in an election rally as campaigning intensifies ahead of the 13th parliamentary election.

He will address the public meeting at 12:30pm at the helipad ground near the Teesta Barrage, located at the Nilphamari–Lalmonirhat border. The rally forms part of Jamaat’s nationwide electioneering activities.

Earlier in the day, Dr Rahman will attend another public meeting in Kurigram before travelling to the Teesta area, party leaders said.
