Jamaat chief declares dawn of a new era in parliamentary politics

Bangla Press Desk:   Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Shafiqur Rahman has said that the entire nation is waiting to see how a new era of parliamentary politics begins.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Shafiqur wrote that the country now stands on the “red blood of the July uprising” and that from tomorrow, the nation will witness how the new chapter of parliamentary politics unfolds.

He extended heartfelt congratulations to the people for participating in the election, describing the moment as a renewed struggle to restore the rights that were taken away from the people.

In the concluding part of his post, the Jamaat chief called upon citizens to unite in rebuilding the country, urging, “Let us build Bangladesh together.” Source: daily Sun
