Jamaat delegation at Jamuna to meet chief adviser
Bangla Press Desk: A four-member delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, led by the party’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, arrived at the state guesthouse Jamuna on Wednesday evening to meet Chief Adviser of the interim government Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus.
The delegation included Jamaat Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary Generals ATM Masum and Rafiqul Islam Khan.
Earlier in the day, a four-member delegation of the National Citizen Party (NCP), led by its convener Nahid Islam, also visited the guesthouse. Other members of the NCP team were senior joint convener Samanta Sharmin, chief organiser for northern region Sarjis Alam, and joint convener Khaled Saifullah.
On Tuesday (21 October), a three-member BNP delegation held a meeting with the chief adviser. The BNP team comprised Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and standing committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.
