Jamaat unreliable ally, seat-sharing will make NCP ‘pay a heavy price’: Samantha Sharmin

Bangla Press Desk:  National Citizen Party (NCP) Senior Joint Convener Samantha Sharmin has cautioned that Jamaat-e-Islami is an unreliable political partner and said any seat-sharing deal with the party could make the NCP ‘pay a heavy price’.

She made the remarks in a Facebook post on Sunday (28 December) amid ongoing discussions over possible electoral seat negotiations.

Sharmin said any form of cooperation or compromise with Jamaat, including ideological alignment, would be detrimental to the NCP.
