Measles surge overwhelms Cumilla hospital as three children die in Dhaka

Bangla Press Desk: A sudden measles outbreak has left children packed shoulder-to-shoulder at Cumilla Medical College Hospital, struggling to receive care.
Meanwhile, three children from Cumilla exhibiting measles symptoms died while receiving treatment in Dhaka, though their samples were not tested.
District Civil Surgeon Ali Noor Mohammad Bashir said on Monday, “Twenty-one children are currently under treatment in Cumilla. Adults are also affected. Reports are coming in from different upazilas, and we are ensuring they receive necessary care.”
