Nation’s Highest Civilian Award Conferred by Prime Minister

Bangla Press Desk:  Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has conferred the country’s second-highest civilian award Ekushey Padak.

The award giving ceremony began at 11:00am on Thursday at the capital’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium.

Nine distinguished individuals and one institution have been honoured with this prestigious award this year in recognition of their outstanding and notable contributions in various fields.Cabinet members, senior military and civil officials, and invited guests attended the ceremony, alongside the award recipients and representatives of the honoured institution.Source: daily Sun
