No Change in LPG Price for March
Bangla Press Desk: The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has set the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for consumers for the month of March, keeping it unchanged from February.
The announcement was made on Monday, with the new rate taking effect from 6:00pm.In a press release, BERC said the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been kept unchanged at Tk1,341 for March.
Previously, on 23 February, the commission last adjusted LPG prices, reducing the price of a 12kg cylinder by Tk15 to Tk1,341.
Meanwhile, the price of autogas at the consumer level has been reduced by 3 paisa for March. The new price, including VAT, has been set at Tk61.83 per litre.
On 23 February, during the last adjustment, the price of autogas had been reduced by 28 paisa to Tk61.86 per litre (including VAT).
BERC regularly reviews and adjusts LPG and autogas prices in line with international market trends and exchange rate fluctuations.Source: daily Sun
