Bangla Press Desk: Amid the escalating tensions over the India-Pakistan war, Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said that the country’s bordering areas are completely secured and there is no cause to be afraid.
“There is no reason to be feared in our border areas, as it is safe and secure enough. There is no chance of any problem here,” he told reporters after inaugurating paddy harvesting activities in Biral Upazila of Dinajpur on Thursday.
Jahangir Alam, also adviser to the agriculture ministry, reassured local farmers the local farmers when Pakistan military claimed to have shot down 25 Indian drones entered its airspace, amid spiraling hostilities between the two nuclear-armed neighbours. Source: DS
