PM chairs Parliamentary Committee meeting, key issues discussed

Bangla Press Desk:   A meeting of the National Parliament Committee was held under the chairmanship of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to accelerate the activities of the Jatiya Sangsad.

During the meeting, the prime minister delivered directives to the members of parliament present.The meeting took place on Saturday at 4:00pm in the ruling party’s conference room at the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, with the participation of ruling party MPs.

At the beginning of the meeting, deep condolences were expressed over the death of Dilara Hafiz, the wife of Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad.Ruling party MPs also took part in a special prayer seeking eternal peace for the departed soul.

The meeting also included discussions on the government’s ongoing activities, the current political situation, legislative activities, and future plans.
