PM Tarique to Join Jamaat’s Iftar on Saturday

Bangla Press Desk:   Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend an iftar programme organised by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in the capital on Saturday.

The event will take place at the Bangladesh China Friendship International Conference Center. The BNP media cell confirmed his participation.

According to his schedule, the prime minister will hold a views-exchange meeting at 10am with officials and heads of departments under his Tejgaon office.

He will later join the Jamaat iftar gathering in the afternoon.

On 25 February, Jamaat Secretary-General Mia Golam Parwar and Assistant Secretary-General Maulana Abdul Halim met the prime minister at the Secretariat and formally invited him to the programme. Tarique Rahman accepted the invitation during the meeting. Source: daily Sun
