Preparations underway to take Mirza Abbas to Singapore for advanced treatment

Bangla Press Desk:   Preparations are underway to take BNP Standing Committee Member and the prime minister's Political Adviser, Mirza Abbas, to Singapore for advanced medical treatment. 

BNP Media Cell member Sairul Kabir Khan on Friday said that Mirza Abbas is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, and following doctors' advice, preparations are being made to transfer him to Singapore by air ambulance.Mirza Abbas suddenly lost consciousness while drinking water during iftar on Wednesday. As his condition did not improve, he was admitted to the hospital later that night.

His wife, Afroza Abbas, president of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, has sought prayers from the people of the country for his speedy recovery.Source: daily Sun
