Prime Minister Tarique visits Mirza Abbas at Evercare Hospital

Bangla Press Desk:   Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Friday noon visited BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

During the visit, Tarique Rahman inquired about the overall physical condition of Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to a message from the Prime Minister’s Office.The prime minister stayed beside his bed for some time and spoke with his family members. He also directed the authorities concerned to make swift arrangements for taking the BNP leader to Singapore for treatment.

Earlier, the BNP media cell said that, following doctors’ advice, Mirza Abbas’s family had decided to take him to Singapore for advanced medical care. He is scheduled to be flown there by air ambulance at 6pm on Friday and will be admitted to the National University Hospital.

Mirza Abbas lost consciousness suddenly during iftar on Wednesday. As his condition did not improve, he was admitted to hospital late that night and is currently receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.Source: daily Sun
