Bangla Press Desk: Four lawyers on Thursday applied to Dhaka Special Judge's Court-4 seeking permission to defend ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina in a case filed over alleged plot allocation irregularities in Rajuk's Purbachal New Town Project.
They submitted their application at the court of Judge Md Robiul Alam in this regard, which was rejected.
The lawyers who submitted petition to appear for Hasina, are - Morshed Hossain Shahin, Imran Hossain, Sheikh Farid and Topu.
Morshed Hossain said, We submitted applications this morning at our own expense to be appointed as legal counsel for Hasina. But the plea was denied by the court.
