Rizvi stands beside Aam Janatar Dal’s Tarek; BNP announces solidarity

Bangla Press Desk: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi stood beside Tarek Rahman, secretary of the new political party Aam Janatar Dal, who went on a hunger strike demanding his party’s registration.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also expressed solidarity on behalf of the BNP on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Tarek Rahman thanked Rizvi in a live broadcast on his verified Facebook page.

Rizvi said, “Tarek has spoken for the interests of this country, taken a stand against aggression, and worked to protect Bangladesh’s sovereignty. He has formed a political party in accordance with the law and has applied for registration.”

The BNP leader also said that Tarique has worked in support of independence and for the interests of democracy. He also urged the Election Commission to grant registration for Tarek's party.
