Salahuddin questions Jamaat, its allies’ role in 2024 polls

Bangla Press Desk: BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed on Saturday questioned the role of those mobilised by Jamaat in its movement, asking what contribution they had made in the 2024 election.

He raised the issue while addressing the anniversary event of the National Democratic Party (NDP) in the capital.

Salahuddin urged political groups to abandon what he described as “petty politics” and act in the interest of the country.

He said Jamaat supports the forces working to derail the election process.
