Storms likely in four districts by evening

Bangla Press Desk: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast storms with wind speeds up to 60 kilometers per hour in four districts by Wednesday evening.
The department advised river ports in those areas to hoist cautionary signal No. 1.
According to a weather forecast issued for inland river ports, the forecast is valid from 9am to 6pm Wednesday.
The BMD said Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar regions may experience temporary gusty or squally winds from the southeast or east, accompanied by rain or thunderstorms.
Authorities have asked river ports in the affected regions to remain alert and take precautionary measures due to the expected weather conditions.
