Bangla Press Desk: In a gesture of support and solidarity, acting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has arranged the wedding of Sadia Sultana, the daughter of late Wali Ullah Mollah, a BNP leader who was killed in police firing in Satkhira.
The marriage ceremony for Sadia Sultana, the second daughter of the former general secretary of Kashimari union unit of BNP in Shymanagar, was held on Sunday.
The initiative was undertaken through a special party cell named Amra BNP Poribar, which coordinated all aspects of the event on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
A delegation, representing the acting BNP chairman, attended the ceremony, presenting gifts to the bride and bridegroom, along with providing special financial assistance to the family.
