Tarique invites Hefazat ameer to oath-taking ceremony

Bangla Press Desk:   Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman has invited Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer Mohibullah Babunagari to attend the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of the new government as a guest.

According to party sources, Tarique extended the invitation during a telephone conversation with Babunagari on Monday afternoon.

The historic swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday afternoon (17 February) at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Complex in Dhaka.Meanwhile, on Monday evening, Tarique is set to hold a courtesy meeting with Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, ameer of Islami Andolan Bangladesh and widely known as the Pir of Charmonai, following the party’s victory in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
