Tarique Rahman praises farmers on World Food Day

Bangla Press Desk: BNP Acting Chairman has paid rich tributes to farmers of the country, and outlined the party’s vision for ensuring food security, where farmers and technology hold special significance, on the occasion of World Food Day on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, he said, “We [BNP members] renew our solemn commitment to the people who feed our nation – our farmers.”

"Bangladesh was built from their hands, nourished by their sacrifice, and strengthened by their resilience. From the fertile fields of Bogura to the 'floating gardens' of Barisal, every grain carries the story of their endurance and our collective future," he added in the post.
