Temperatures in Dhaka have dropped compared to the previous day.

BanglaPress Desk: Like the previous day, the sky over the capital, Dhaka, was bright and sunny this Saturday (November 7) morning. A gentle breeze accompanied the pleasant morning sunshine, though the temperature has dropped slightly compared to yesterday.

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the temperature in Dhaka and its surrounding areas was 24.4°C at 6:00 AM yesterday, Friday. Today, Saturday, at the same time, the temperature was recorded at 23.9°C—a decrease of 0.5°C over the span of one day.

In its 6-hour forecast issued at 7:00 AM today, the BMD indicated that the sky over Dhaka and its adjacent areas is likely to remain clear, with dry weather expected. Winds may blow from the west or north-west at a speed of 6 to 12 km/h. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.

Data from the BMD shows that the temperature in the capital was 23.9°C at 6:00 AM today, with humidity recorded at 74%.

Meanwhile, the sun will set in Dhaka at 5:16 PM today, and tomorrow, Sunday, it will rise at 6:09 AM.

Across the country, temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable, much like in Dhaka and its surrounding regions. A five-day forecast released by the BMD yesterday evening suggests that while the sky across the country may be partly cloudy today, the overall weather is likely to remain predominantly dry, with little change in day or night temperatures.

However, the BMD has noted that while dry weather will prevail across most of the country, there is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the Chattogram region.
