Tentulia records 13.2°c as cold intensifies
Bangla Press Desk: Panchagarh continues to experience a sharp rise in cold conditions, with biting winds and high humidity making the winter chill felt across the district from early morning.
At 6am on Thursday, the Tentulia weather observatory recorded the day’s lowest temperature at 13.2°C. Although slightly higher than Wednesday’s 13°C, officials said there is no sign of relief from the prevailing cold.
Humidity stood at 97% during the early hours. Strong chilly winds swept through the region before light sunshine appeared later in the morning.
On Wednesday, the lowest temperature was 13°C, while the highest daytime temperature reached 29°C.
Jitendranath Roy, a meteorologist at the Tentulia weather station, said winter is gradually setting in. “The temperatures may fall further at the beginning of December, with a mild cold wave likely,” he added.
