Three Friends Die in Munshiganj Motorcycle Crash

Munshiganj Correspondent: Three friends were killed in a motorcycle accident in Darjarpar area of Jashlang village under Tongibari upazila in Munshiganj on Thursday night.

The accident occurred around 10:00pm when the motorcycle they were riding lost control and crashed into a tree.

Tongibari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Monirul Haque Dabloo confirmed the matter.

The deceased were identified as Saniyat (32), Sakib (30), and Turjo (30). Saniyat and Sakib died on the spot, while Turjo was critically injured and later taken to Munshiganj Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Local sources said the motorcycle was being driven at high speed when the rider lost control, causing it to slam into a roadside tree. All three victims were close friends and were riding the motorcycle together at the time of the accident.

Police said Turjo was the son of Badal Majhi of Majhibari area in Tongibari upazila, while the other two victims were also residents of the same locality.

Police officers visited the scene after receiving the information and said an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident. Necessary legal steps are being taken, police added.
