Three service chiefs attend Khaleda Zia’s janaza

Bangla Press Desk:  The chiefs of the Bangladesh Army, the Bangladesh Navy, and the Bangladesh Air Force have attended the namaj-e-janaza of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayers) of Khaleda Zia was held at 3pm on Wednesday (31 December) after Zuhr prayers at Manik Mia Avenue in the capital.

The janaza of Khaleda Zia was conducted by Mufti Abdul Malek, the khatib of the national mosque Baitul Mukarram.

After the janaza, the uncompromising leader Khaleda Zia is now set to be buried beside her husband, martyred President Ziaur Rahman.
