Bangla Press Desk: Britain's Prime Minister Keir Starmer has sent a heartfelt condolence message to the people of Bangladesh following the tragic plane crash at Milestone School and College in Dhaka.
In a formal letter (Dated 30 July) addressed to the Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, the British Prime Minister conveyed his deepest sympathies on behalf of himself and the people of the United Kingdom. He expressed sorrow over the “devastating” crash and extended support during what he termed a “time of national mourning.”
“I am writing to express my heartfelt condolences to you, and to the people of Bangladesh,” the letter read. “Please accept my deepest sympathies, and those of the British people.”
The British Prime Minister also praised the courage and swift action of first responders and medical personnel at the crash site, calling their efforts “a testament to the resilience of the Bangladeshi people.”
