Uprising Day: Main stage ready, security beefed up
  Bangla Press Desk:  On the occasion of the anniversary of the July Uprising, a day-long program has been organized today (August 5), at Dhaka’s Manik Mia Avenue. Preparations for the main stage, sound, and lighting systems for the "July Reawakening Celebration" have been completed. Additionally, security has been intensified in and around the event venue. Since Monday night, law enforcement agencies have implemented maximum security measures at Manik Mia Avenue. High-capacity CCTV cameras have been installed, and intelligence surveillance has been activated. Tejgaon Division’s Deputy Police Commissioner, Ibne Mizan, and RAB-2 Commanding Officer, Additional DIG Khalidul Haque Howlader, have stated that a sufficient number of police and RAB personnel will be deployed in both uniform and plainclothes.
The event will feature cultural performances, a drone show, and a declaration reading. From 11 AM, various musical groups will perform. At 5 PM, Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus will read the July Declaration at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, which will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV). A special drone show is scheduled for 7:30 PM, followed by a band performance at 8 PM. Meanwhile, sound engineer Shamim Ahmed mentioned that a waterproof sound system has been installed, considering the possibility of rain. According to a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali, vehicular movement in the National Parliament area and Manik Mia Avenue will be suspended due to the public gathering.
