Bangla Press Desk: Rescue operations are ongoing after a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training aircraft crashed in the Milestone School and College field area of Uttara, Dhaka. The crash occurred shortly after the aircraft took off at 1:06 pm, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Two platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have joined the fire service teams in the rescue efforts. Eight units of the fire service are currently working at the scene. While the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, Fire Service Assistant Director (Dhaka) Kazi Nazmuzzaman said that "many people have been injured," and rescuers are prioritizing transporting the injured to hospitals.
Footage circulating on social media appears to show multiple individuals being carried on stretchers, though the authenticity of the videos has not yet been verified. Several victims have reportedly been airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) by helicopter. This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
