Bangla Press Desk: Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Vice President-elect Abu Shadik Kayem has pledged to provide unwavering service to students, stressing that accountability will remain the cornerstone of the new leadership.
“Students can ask questions anytime to hold us accountable. Our job is to work,” said Shadik while paying tribute to the martyrs at the Rayerbazar graveyard on Thursday morning.
He was accompanied by General Secretary (GS) SM Farhad and other panel members of the United Students’ Alliance, which recently won the DUCSU polls.
The newly elected leaders officially launched their activities by visiting the graves of the July Uprising martyrs as well as the martyrs of the 1971 Liberation War.
