Staff Reporter:Sarwar Hossain Mukta, an expatriate from Pennsylvania in the United States, is unable to have a heart transplant due to lack of funds. He is currently being treated at Penn Medicine Presbyterian Hospital in Pennsylvania. Mukta, a former student of Rajshahi University, needs several lakh US dollars for a heart transplant, family sources said.
Sarwar Hossain Mukta’s wife Nargis Fatema Biplobi was also a student of Rajshahi University. She said, “We have an 11-year-old daughter.” We have gone through 17 years together with various problems. Suddenly my happy world has turned upside down. Doctors found a heart block when my husband had a heart attack a few days ago. When he was taken to the hospital, he was put on life support and doctors advised him to have a heart transplant. But unfortunately they have no medical insurance. In this case, his surgery requires a lot of money. Which is not possible for us to manage.
My husband is a healthy and hardworking man. I can’t imagine his face, without him it is not possible to face the challenges of the days ahead. So I am appealing for cooperation in the morning. Your cooperation can heal my husband.
Wife Nargis Fatema Biplobi is always by her husband’s side. There is nothing that she can do to help her husband. He wanted to appeal to all the locals and foreigners for help as he did not have family capacity. Biplobi has made a desperate request to save a life and put a smile on the face of an 11-year-old child with the help of Sakal.
Nargis Fatema Biplobi, wife of Sarwar Hossain Mukta, has opened a fundraising page in the hope of helping the kind people of the country and abroad. If you want to help you can click on this link: https://gofund.me/b6fa0ba1 Interested parties can contribute by visiting this page.
