Atlantic City Mayor receives book of intelligence report on Bangabandhu

In a meeting with Mayor Marty Small Sr. at Atlantic City Hall, Consul General highlighted the outstanding contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time, in establishing an independent and sovereign Bangladesh and presented him with a book on intelligence report.
Secret Documents of Intelligence Branch on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’ Volume 1, 2, & 3 Books on Intelligence Report on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from 1948 to 1971 edited by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Handing over to him, Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa said that Bangabandhu, a world-renowned leader dedicated to the rights of the exploited, deprived and oppressed people, is now a world friend. Mayor Marty Small with keen interest knows about the struggling life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and pays deep homage to the Father of the Nation.
He said the books would be carefully preserved in the Atlantic City Hall as a sign of deep respect for Bangabandhu.
Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa visited Atlantic City on June 2-3 to attend the “Asian Consulate and Resource Day” at the invitation of Marty Small Sr., Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa was given a warm welcome by the Mayor and other officials of City Hall.
During a meeting with the Atlantic City Mayor, the Consul General further said that in this joyous moment of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation in 2021 and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence, the United Nations has made a final recommendation for Bangladesh to move from a least developed country to a developing country. This achievement of Bangladesh has been made possible due to the visionary political leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the Father of the Nation.
The Consul General highlighted the success story of Bangladesh’s socio-economic development and women’s empowerment under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
During the meeting, the Consul General thanked the Atlantic City Mayor for providing various services and overall support to the Bangladeshi-American community and assured them of their support for working together for the well-being of Bangladeshi-Americans. She invited the mayor to visit Bangladesh. .
“Asian Consulate and Resource Day” is being celebrated in Atlantic City for the first time at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Organized with the support of Atlantic City Administration and various community organizations, the event was attended by Consulate Generals of Bangladesh and India and other service providers. Consular services have been provided to more than 400 Bangladeshi / Bangladeshi-Americans in a two-day (2-3 June) mobile camp at the Bangladesh Consulate.
On the occasion, the Mayor presented a “Certificate of Appreciation” to Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa for her outstanding contribution to the service of the Bangladeshi-American community.
