Noman Ibne Sabit: The rally called by the US Awami League in front of the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington DC on the day of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge has been canceled. The rally was to be held on June 24 at 3 pm. In the current situation, holding such a rally in front of the head office of the World Bank is very eye-catching. A source in the US Awami League said that the rally was canceled due to various negative reactions from various quarters.

United States Awami League President Dr. Siddiqur Rahman said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the historic Padma Bridge on June 25 at 10 am (Bangladesh time). He will visit Bangladesh on June 21 at the invitation of the Central Committee to attend the event. Therefore, the other leaders and workers of the party will hold various programs in New York instead of the program to be held in front of the head office of the World Bank. The leaders of the United States Awami League have called upon all the expatriates to attend the joyous gathering of the United States Awami League, all its affiliates and all the expatriates supported by the Awami League to make the gathering successful and fruitful.
